Love Never Dies

http://www.loveneverdies.com.au/index.php

I entered a competition on Monday morning on Radio 2HD winning 2 tickets to last night's performance of this wonderful production, a sequel to The Phantom of the Opera that I had previously attended in Sydney. Thank you 2HD's Richard King I had a most enjoyable night, my daughter Karen Barker Rogers attended with me....excellent seats and her husband (our chauffer) was fortunate on arrival at the theatre to obtain a cancellation seat. I am encouraging friends and other family members not to miss this season in Sydney.....wonderful cast and storyline with a very emotional not anticipated ending....which I feel shouldn't be revealed to intending audiences to avoid possibly slightly spoiling for them this final scene. The set designs and costumes were so spectacular I wonder if there is slight pressure on the cast to give the utmost powerful performances, not to allow the amazing set designs and lighting to take away the limelight from their performances. Introduced to live theatre as a child this developed into an interest spanning over more than seventy years. I have seen stage sets come a long way from simple backdrops and stage props!!!! Also we enjoyed the company last night of fellow competition winners from Toronto, Peter and Lorraine.  xx
