Austrian folk dancers entertain in Adelaide
Spanish dancer, Estella Nova, and her Australian husband, Jeffrey Kovel, who is a ballet dancer, and now organiser for art forms for schools entertainment with the Australian Arts Council, in Sydney, have left the Festival Ballet Company of London to settle in Sydney. She is a naturalised Australian, having taken the oath of allegiance at a private ceremony during a previous visit to Australia five years ago. Jeffrey Kovel and his wife, Estella Nova, in their flat in Kings Cross. A bull's head woven in cane sits on top of their tape-recorder.
Miss Karen performed in the Kolobok production of Peter and the Wolf for the Australian Arts Council for schools entertainment. With her father I attended three performances on the one day at the Regent Theatre in Sydney.
